On the list of DTTD (Dumb Things Trump Does) the President has singled out Baltimore Congressman Elijah Cummings, who happens to be Chairman of the House Oversight Committee currently investigating the Trump administration and 2016 Trump campaign, calling him “a brutal bully.”
There’s a sad irony in this when one considers Mr. Trump is not exactly the proper etiquette-driven gentleman of the day.
And that’s not even considering his use of the word “bully.”
Our president derides Cummings saying his Baltimore-area district is poorly run, dangerous and a rat and rodent infested mess.
Aside from that, I guess, has no real issue with the Maryland Congressman
While there has been blowback from the state’s Republican governor, GOP members of Congress and the usual Democratic voices about our President’s description of the dangers of Cummings’ district, it might be of interest that the FBI statistics show Atlanta as the second-most crime infested city which happens to have two Republican Senators. St Louis is on the list (three GOP Congressmen). Yeah, I could go on. The point is, none of this has anything to do with Trump’s problems with Representative Cummings but, instead, the fact someone  is critical of the way Trump operates. Our president just doesn’t like stuff like that.
A DTTD subset is our president’s inability to spell: It’s Cummings, not Cumming (and no, I’m not going to go there).
